Privacy policy.
Last updated: 15 May 2026. We are Malaysia Clear Ice (operating as malaysiaclearice.com and clearicesupplier.com), a clear ice supplier in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, Malaysia. This policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect, how we use it and how to contact us about it. It is written to comply with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. What we do not collect.
We do not run a sign-up form, an account system, a newsletter, a checkout flow or a contact form on either website. There is no place on this site where you can submit your name, email or phone number to us through the website itself.
2. What we do collect (anonymous analytics).
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets a cookie in your browser and sends Google anonymised data about your visit, including:
- The pages you view and the order you view them in.
- How long you stay on each page.
- Approximate location (country, region, city) inferred from your IP address. The IP itself is not stored by Google in identifiable form by default.
- Device type, browser and operating system.
- Whether you clicked any of the WhatsApp links on our pages (we track this as a custom event called whatsapp_click).
We do not link this data to any individual person. We use it in aggregate to see which pages help customers and which areas of Malaysia we get visitors from.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites that use it, you can install the official browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
3. WhatsApp ordering (separate from this site).
Orders happen on WhatsApp at +60 11-3965 2066. When you message us on WhatsApp, you share with us:
- Your WhatsApp display name and phone number.
- The delivery address you provide.
- Order details, quantity and any logo files (for engraved orders).
We use this data only to fulfil your order, plan our delivery routes and contact you about delivery status. We do not share it with any third party except our delivery courier and only the address and phone number needed for them to deliver. We retain order records for our own bookkeeping and Malaysian tax compliance.
WhatsApp itself is operated by Meta Platforms Inc. and has its own privacy policy at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
4. Cookies set by this site.
The only first-party cookie we set is the Google Analytics cookie (_ga) and its variants. We do not set advertising, tracking or marketing cookies. We do not embed third-party advertising scripts.
5. Server logs.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, served via Fastly's content delivery network. GitHub and Fastly may keep standard server access logs (IP address, page requested, time, user agent). These are retained per their respective policies and are not under our control. See GitHub's privacy statement and Fastly's privacy notice for details.
6. Your rights under the PDPA.
Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Request that we delete your data (subject to our tax-record retention obligations).
- Withdraw consent for us to process your data (this may stop us being able to fulfil pending orders).

7. Children.
The site and the products are intended for adult use. We do not knowingly process personal data of anyone under the age of 18.
8. Changes to this policy.
We may update this page if we change how we use data. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will also be noted in our llms.txt file at the site root.
