How much clear ice
do I need?
A rough estimate. Real consumption varies a lot by your venue, the heat on the night, the kind of crowd and the kind of drink. Use this as a starting point and add a buffer if it is a high-stakes event.

How the estimate works.
We assume a typical guest has roughly one drink per hour. Cocktails and whisky neat use one large piece of ice per drink (cube or sphere). Highballs use one cylinder per drink. We then round up to the nearest box of 25 (our minimum order unit) and add a small safety buffer.
